welcome to divekids!

We are so happy you are here! Our mission at Dive is to show the love of Christ through serving and building relationships with the kids in our community. We do this with an incredible team of background checked volunteers who work together to support all who walk through our doors!

Our Sunday mornings involve Sunday School beginning at 9:30am with Jr. Worship beginning at 10:30am.  We also have Wednesday night programs during the school year that will dive deeper into what we learn on Sundays with the emphasis on teaching kids that even though they are young they are never too small to make an impact on the lives of others!  We do this with age-appropriate service projects and outings that put our lessons into action and get kids thinking about their role in bringing others to Christ.

What Curriculum do we use?

We use D6 Family Curriculum for Sunday Morning and Wednesday Night.  The D6 mission is modeled after Deuteronomy 6:4-7 "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.  These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.  Impress them on your children.  Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down, and when you get up."  The idea of generational discipleship is that the family unit is first and foremost the center of discipleship with the church assisting and facilitating the introductions and conversations with families to grow together in the faith.

Children are given devotionals to use at home and begin the discipline of being in the Word every single day to grow deep roots in the faith and be able to stand firm when times are tough! We encourage parents to use the devotionals with their children to be able to discuss hard topics and questions together.
