Dive Student Ministry (DSM) is the 7th – 12th grade student ministry of Dive Christian Church.
Our heart is simple: we want students to know Jesus, grow in their faith, build Christ-centered relationships, and learn what it looks like to live boldly for Him.
DSM isn’t a church within a church. We are part of Dive Christian Church. We want students to know that they belong to the Church right now—not someday when they graduate. Our goal is to help students worship, serve, grow, and build relationships alongside the greater body of believers.
Our Vision
INVITE.
We want students to know there is a place for them here. We encourage students to invite their friends into authentic Christian community where they can have fun, build meaningful relationships, hear biblical truth, and encounter Jesus.
INVEST.
Relationships matter. Our adult leaders intentionally invest in students through discipleship, encouragement, accountability, prayer, and simply showing up in their lives. We believe some of the greatest ministry happens when trusted Christian adults consistently walk alongside students.
GO DEEP.
We want more than surface-level faith. Our desire is for students to know God’s Word, understand the Gospel, ask real questions, develop spiritual disciplines, and build a faith that becomes their own.
We want students to seek Jesus first in every area of their lives.

What We Value
At DSM, we want to create an environment centered around:
Biblical Truth — God’s Word is the foundation of what we teach and how we live.
Discipleship — We want students to move beyond simply attending church and become committed followers of Jesus.
Authentic Community — Students need a place where they are known, loved, challenged, encouraged and able to build healthy Christ-centered friendships.
Serving Others — Following Jesus means learning to put God first, others second, and ourselves third.
The Church — Student ministry isn’t separate from the Church. We want students connected to, serving in, and loving the local church.
The Gospel — Ultimately, life change doesn’t come from an event, program, name, or logo. True transformation comes through Jesus Christ.
What To Expect
DSM is a place where students can come as they are, build friendships, have fun, and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Throughout the year, students experience:
- Weekly gatherings and biblical teaching
- Small groups and discipleship
- Games and special events
- Worship
- Service opportunities
- Camps, retreats, and mission experiences
- Opportunities to serve within Dive Christian Church
- Adult leaders who intentionally invest in their lives
Whether a student has grown up in church or is walking through the doors for the first time, there is a place for them at DSM.
Our Story
Dive Student Ministry was previously known as Mpact Student Ministry, a ministry with a rich history at Dive Christian Church.
For years, Mpact helped students encounter Jesus, develop friendships, attend camps and mission trips, serve others, and grow in their faith.
The original Mpact name represented five important values:
- M — Mission Minded
- P — Practicing Faith
- A — Accepting of One Another
- C — Christllike
- T — Training in His Way
Those values helped build the foundation we stand on today. The transition to Dive Student Ministry wasn’t about leaving history behind. It was about more clearly identifying our students as part of the larger mission and family of Dive Christian Church.
The name has changed, but the heart remains:
Helping students know Jesus, grow in their faith, build Christ-centered relationships, and live boldly for Him.
